Alvarezsaurus has had only a small role in a documentary so far. The documentary is Dinosaur Planet and the small dinosaur appears in the fourth episode. Its role is as a small predator, obviously, of young sauropods; in this instance the sauropod in question is Saltasaurus. The attack is shown at night and the almost ostrich-like dinosaur manages to snag a few little sauropod snacks on its hunt. The attack occurs around minute 18 of the video shown below.
